TSL, Time Spent Listening

General information
  1. The listening duration report allows you to see:
  2. The total (for all listeners) duration of listening to the selected radio stations for each day
  3. Average listening duration per session and per unique user
  4. Distribution of sessions per day into groups depending on their duration (listening intervals)
Functionally, the report consists of three graphs and three corresponding tables.

The graph of the total listening duration for each day of the selected interval displays one column for each selected station corresponding to the total listening duration of this station in minutes by all users for the day. If several stations are selected, the resulting line is additionally displayed above the speakers, indicating the total listening duration.

The average listening duration graph displays the average listening duration per listening session and per unique user. In both cases, the total listening duration for all selected stations is taken for calculation. At the same time, the average number of minutes per unique listener will always be greater than the average number of minutes per session, because one unique listener can create several sessions per day (listen to the station several times at different times).

The schedule of listening intervals shows the distribution of all auditions for the period by intervals of different duration.

The total listening duration table displays the total listening duration for each station, and the sum of all stations, and also contains the total duration for all stations a week ago, and the percentage of the current total duration to the total duration a week ago.

The tables of the average listening duration and listening intervals completely duplicate the contents of the corresponding graphs.
The report consists of:
To generate the report, you must specify the period for which you want to display the data, and select the desired stations. There is no comparison mode.
For different dates, get a comparison of listening times in different slices.

If the listening time drops or listeners move to lower listening time intervals, this indicates that users have become faster to switch to other radio stations or stop listening. Indirectly, this indicates a decrease in interest or that elements have appeared on the air that lead the audience away.
